The Lakelands Explorer
The Wolfhound Lakelands Explorer is a no-rush eco adventure tour for those who want to maximize their time in the fresh Irish air. This is the adventure you've all been asking for with 5 full days of fun and adventure in the wilds of Sligo and the lush hidden wilderness of the Irish Lakelands. There's minimal driving and maximum fresh air. It's your adventure!
You'll horse ride the gorgeous sands of Sligo, climb to ancient tombs and hike and bike through pristine unspoilt scenery far away from the mainstream in the forests and lakelands of Leitrim and Roscommon.
You can kayak or row onto unspoiled lakes, learn to surf, take a sea weed bath and explore the grounds of the Temple House Estate. You can take a journey through culture and archaeology as we explore more of Yeats' country and step back in time to the Neolithic tombs that lie hidden in this gorgeous area of Ireland. It's a wonderful, exciting slow-adrenaline 5 day adventure tour of Ireland's lush Lakelands.
