Tour Details

Follow in the footsteps of giants on an epic adventure through landscape, legends and luxury into the ‘undiscovered country’ of the North of Ireland.

On this 6 day adventure tour, you'll hike to the Giant's Causeway, visit the wilds of Glenveagh National Park, horse-ride or hike the beaches of Sligo and Donegal, take a famous Black Taxi Tour of Belfast, walk the Bloody Sunday Trail in Derry and explore to the hidden corners of the North.

The majority of tourists visiting Northern Ireland spend a lot of time in coach parks and waiting in lines for restrooms and food. Not on a Wolfhound Adventure Tour! We'll explore away from the maddening crowds, spending lots of time exploring ancient castles and quaint villages and even stop for picnic lunches or pints along the way.

You'll learn all about the recent history and politics of Northern Ireland – its troubled past and peaceful present. You'll explore the North's most majestic scenery and hike along her stunning cliff-tops. You'll cross the famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and walk out onto the Giants Causeway. Encounter dolphin pods, occasional minke whales, gannets, buzzards and all sorts of Summer nesting birdlife.

You can learn to surf, sing or even learn to play the Irish drum. And every evening you can rest your head on a soft pillow in first class B+B accommodations and small hotels. You'll visit local pubs with great food and maybe even find some traditional musicians along the way.

And with Wolfhound Adventure Tours there's no need to rush - as well as overnighting on a dairy farm near The Giant's Causeway, we'll stay in wonderful B+Bs in Sligo a stone's throw from the burial place of W.B.Yeats. There's a second double overnight in the wilds of Donegal which gives us extra time to discover the hidden heritage and breathtaking beaches in the area.

We'll explore at your pace rather than being tied to a timed itinerary. It's really a lovely relaxed touring environment, and with great stories and songs along the way it'll be hard to drag yourself away at the end of your trip.

Because we are not tied to a fixed itinerary you are free to choose when and where you’d like to hike and explore more. Remember with Wolfhound – It’s Your Adventure.
