From remote valleys to fishing hamlets, quaint villages to colourful towns, each of our overnights gives you fantastic options for things to do in the evenings. Whether you wish to spend your evenings meeting quirky locals ,enjoying traditional Irish music in old pubs or simply taking sunset strolls or relaxing with a good book, each night on tour offers you something slightly different.
In the event that our regular B+B's and hotels are booked-out or unavailable there's, no need to worry. Wolfhound has plenty of other options to the same standard nearby at each of our locations. Legendary warmth and welcomes guaranteed!

If you are booking a private trip and would like to stay in more luxurious surroundings there are plenty of Manor Homes and small Castles not too far from each of our regular overnight stops. Nothing beats the local feel of our regular overnights but if extra luxury is a must please don't hesitate to ask. Ireland has many hidden gems waiting for you.

Another wonderful Bed and Breakfast located under the slopes of mighty Ben Bulben mountain.
This B+B is just a few minutes walk from the famous church of Drumcliffe, last resting place of W.B.Yeats.
You can explore the old tombstones in search of Yeats' famous epitaph and then raise a glass to the immortal Irish bard in the Yeats Tavern, literally a stone's throw from our B+B. 'Cast a cold eye on life, on death. Horseman pass by.'

Run by the Lucey family for 5 generations, the Hotel is now managed by Neil Lucey and his wife Katie. It's a wonderful retreat hotel with fine cuisine and a forest park within a stone's throw.
From the window of the dining room you look out to the ancient shrine of St Finbar on the lake as the swans glide past and the swallos dive. You won't want to leave and you'll probably be back. *Summertime only.

Located in the heart of the wonderful town of Westport the Clew Bay hotel has a cosy and luxurious feel. Recently renovated, the rooms are stylish and spacious with very comfy beds and roomy bathrooms. The bistro serves a delicious breakfast and we often dine here for dinner in the evenings after a long day’s hiking in Connemara. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the famous Matt Molloy’s pub (of Chieftains fame) for traditional music after dinner.

Set on the windswept Causeway coast just a few minute's walk from The Giant's Causeway itself, this wonderful farmhouse is a great place to rest your head in the cosy surrounds of a working dairy farm.
Alice's home-made wheaten bread and selection of tasty cheeses is the best reason in the world to stay here and as you sit in the lovely dining room overlooking the coast you may not want to leave.

The Doolin Activity Lodge is another friendly family run overnight that features ski chalet-style accommodation to a very high standard.
Each apartment has its own living room and kitchen if you fancy staying out of the pub for the evening. Situated in the middle of Doolin village it's a short walk to any of the traditional pubs and restaurants nearby.
The Activity Lodge has internet access and does great pancakes and French toast for brekkie! Niall and Deirdre are sure to give you a warm and friendly welcome and might even let you pet their horse.

A real getaway B+B on the unspoiled island of Inis Mean, one of world-famous Aran Islands.
To stay here is a chance to step out of the fast lane and unwind at the pace of the islanders. Time here is dictated by the weather and the coming and going of the boats to the harbor.
Teresa Flaherty is your friendly host in this cozy family run B+B with stunning, unspoiled views out over the stone walls and across to Inis Mor and beyond to Connemara.
We often have home-made dinner here after a day or two exploring more of the Arans. And Teresa's homemade scones are to die for!

Right in the centre of the colorful town of Kenmare, Davitt's Guesthouse has luxurious rooms and friendly staff. There's wifi and wonderful food available in the restaurant where often a local harpist plays for you and Mary Davitt always has time for a chat.
One of the best breakfasts en-route awaits and in the evening there's a great choice of local pubs nearby for music and song. (also some great stores for retail therapy just down the street but that's a secret!)

Situated by the bustling harbour in the maritime village of Knightstown on Valentia Island this is a little gem of a hotel with awesome views across the mountains of the Ring of Kerry. There’s a pub / restaurant where we often dine and it even has a pool table if you feel like taking on the local salty seadogs! Knightstown is currently seeking World Heritage Status as the transatlantic cable station is located here that connected Europe with North America in the late nineteenth century. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the fishing village of Portmagee from where we leave after breakfast for boat trips to the world famous Skellig Islands.

This stunning little Kerry hotel is located in the seaside village of Glenbeigh in the heart of the Reeks District and on the Ring of Kerry & Wild Atlantic Way route.
A family run 12 bedroom Hotel, it’s the perfect base to explore the beauty of The Skellig Coast and the Skellig Ring. Glenbeigh has several pubs to choose from where you can chat to the locals about their greatest passion – Gaelic Football. They’re all crazy about our Gaelic games in this neck of the woods. If the Skellig boats aren’t running in the morning we’ll be in position A to explore the dunes of Rossbeigh Beach, just a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
